Experience
The Director of Rosscom originally began work as site administrator during the construction of “New” Parliament House whilst studying Construction Management and Economics at Canberra Uni. From there Matt worked as Estimator and then Project Coordinator for R&G Shelley before continuing the role with Manteena. Due to a fickle Construction market in the early 90’s Matt chose to move to Border Stainless where he remained for 21 years as Project manager eventually becoming a shareholder and facilitated the sale of the company to ASX listed Hastie Services. From 1998-2000 Matt moved to Sydney to facilitate large scale Architectural projects at Cockle Bay, Darling harbour, Airport redevelopment and numerous restaurants and bars. After a 2 year period with Hastie Matt moved to Local Refrigeration Company where he managed large scale refrigeration projects, estimating and hospitality fit-outs.
Throughout this period Matt was involved in numerous hospitality and significant Architectural projects, many of which were commissioned by Local and Federal Government with many structures on display within the Parliamentary Triangle and installed as far afield as the Western front, Gallipoli and Nui Guini.
